Compliance Requirement Changes for CPOs and CTAs

Beginning September 23rd, 2013 all CPOs and CTAs are permitted to use a Disclosure Document for up to 12 months rather than the original 9 months.  CPOs may also use third-party service providers to maintain their books and records under certain conditions.  Moreover, as of August 22, 2013, CPOs are no longer required to obtain a signed acknowledgment of receipt of disclosure documents from participants before accepting funds.    The details of the amended rules can be found here.
